pla
PLA is a more environmentally friendly compared to the rest plastice direved from corn. It works great for decorative of visual pieces. IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MACHINCAL USE as it is prone to snapping and can be quite dangerous when used for such an application. Has a low resistance and may deform and/or fade with long exposure to the sun.
nylon
NYLON is one of the most durable plastics exceeding the mechanical and temperperture ristance of PLA and ABS but colour can still fade from sun light. NYLON is recommended for high strain mechaincal parts
colours
PLA: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE, PINK, WHITE, BLACK
ABS: RED, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, WHITE, BLACK
ASA: ONLY AVAILABLE IN BLACK
NYLON: ONLY AVAILABLE IN BLACK
asa
ASA is closely related to ABS sharing much of the same machinical and temperature risistant qualities. The one distinct difference is that ASA is UV reistant making it great for outdoor part that will be exposed to sun over long periods.
abs
ABS made from petrolium based products making it more of a hard wearing plastic able to endure more mechanical stresses than PLA. Will bend and buckle when to much force is applied as apposed to snapping instantly. Has a greater temperature resistance than PLA but will still fade with long exposure to the sun.
